By far the fastest growing brand name and the most multi talented super star to emerge from South Africa to date, which has managed to accomplish within one year more than most artist accomplish in a lifetime.

Zola grew up in Soweto, in a ghetto called Zola, hence the name. Though he is standing on the brink of greatness, he is under no misconception of his past or future. Not only did he play Fela in the Oscar Award winning film Tsotsi and provided most of the Hot Tracks on the Tsotsi Soundtrack he also played the notorious gangster Papa Action in Yizo Yizo2.

He has also enjoyed success with his hit song Ghetto Fabulous from the soundtrack.

What distinguish Zola's home grown sound from the tired chants of other Kwaito artists are its challenging lyrics. His lyrics reflect an intelligence and maturity not often found in Kwaito music.
